Hey, I’m Jayla Moreno born and raised in Redondo Beach, California. For most of my early life, I wasn’t sure what path to take, but I always knew one thing: I wanted to help people.

I started out in the medical field, studying Radiologic Technology with the goal of becoming a Radiation Therapist. But once I got inside the hospital system, something felt off.

I saw patients stuck in cycles of “sick care,” not true healing. The environment was cold, mechanical and it didn’t align with my values.

So I pivoted to Corporate Real Estate. I quickly climbed the ladder and was doing really well on the outside. But behind the scenes,

I was drowning in stress, burnout, and health issues from working 60+ hours a week. The toxic culture, harassment, and pressure to perform nearly broke me. I knew I couldn’t keep living like that.
